Elysian Fields ISD Excellence through Teamwork

A public hearing will be held on April 8th, 2024, at or shortly after 6:00 p.m. on the matter of the Elysian FIelds Independent School District’s (EFISD) certification that each pupil in the District has, or will have prior to the end of that year, sufficient textbooks or instructional materials covering all Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) for all required subjects, except physical education, adopted by the State Board of Education. Copies of the Certification of Provision of Instructional Materials are available for review at the District’s Administrative Offices located at 2099 FM 451, Waskom TX, 75692 during normal business hours. This release is tendered in compliance with Texas Education Code (TEC) requirements to provide notice of the hearing by means of local media.

Elysian Fields Independent School District is providing notice to Private Non-Profit Schools that the district will apply for 2024-2025 ESSA Consolidated Federal Grant funds . We will hold an ESSA Private Non-Profit (PNP) outreach and general information meeting at Region 7 ESC on April 9, 2024 at 9:00. AGENDA

Elysian Fields ISD will apply for the Title I, Title II, Title III(SSA), Title IV, Title V (RLIS), Federal Grants for the August 2023-May 2024 school year. Elysian Fields ISD plans to use these funds to support the intent and purpose of said grants.

EFISD received the ESSER III NOGA on September 13, 2021, and in accordance with requirements the “Safe Return to In-Person Instruction and Continuity of Services Plan” was posted within 30 days. A 6-month review was completed through meaningful consultation with required stakeholders on March 21, 2023. The next required 6-month review is scheduled for September 2023.
