General Information for 2018 - 2019

 

New Student registration will begin on August 1, 2018 at 10:00.

 

Meal Prices:

Student Breakfast          $1.50

Elementary Lunch         $2.25

Reduced Breakfast        $0.55

Reduced Lunch              $0.65

 

Morning Arrival to School:

  1. Doors open at 7:20 for parents to drop off students.
  2. Parking is available at the front of the school. It is a one way drive. Please enter from the East End and exit on the West End.
  3. Car riders need to be dropped off on the Second Grade End of the building where staff members are located. They may not be dropped off in the bus lane.  Students may not be dropped off in any other area and are never to be unattended in the parking lot.  
  4. Buses unload students at 7:20.
  5. The cafeteria stops serving breakfast at 7:50 unless notified by office staff.
  6. Students eating breakfast need to report directly to the cafeteria before going to class.
  7. A student who arrives to school after 8:00 am is tardy. They must check in at the main office.  Students arriving after 8:00 AM must be walked into the office with a parent / guardian.
  8. Doors are locked at 8:00 and you must ring the doorbell for entrance.

     10. Parents please make prior arrangements regarding changes for how your child will go home. Students must have a written note signed by their parent / guardian in order for their standing daily arrangements to change.  Plans may not be changed, unless there is an emergency.  You will have to make accommodations on your end for unexpected changes.

     Afternoon Dismissal for Students:

  1. Doors will be unlocked at 3:00.
  2. The first afternoon dismissal bell rings at 3:10.
  3. Parents will be given a tag with their child’s name on it to place in your windshield. It will help staff members with placing car riders in the correct car.
  4. Parents waiting in the car rider line may not get out of their vehicles. They must pull around to the Second Grade end of the building to pick up their child.
  5. A staff member will assist car riders with getting to their car.
  6. First Wave buses are 217 Thompson 220 Franks, Carr 216, 212 Willie, 214 Smith, 211 Scott
  7. Second Wave buses are 218 Tiller, 208 Dillon, 219 Bowers, 215 Snider
  8. Third Wave buses are 209 Farmer, 207 Nock, 204 Struwe, 221 Thomas
  9. Students will not be called to the office to check out after 3:00 PM.  Students checking out early (before 3:00 PM) will not be called out of class to check out until their parent arrives.

 

Visiting​ ​the​ ​Campus

We welcome parents to visit their child during lunch and special activities held throughout the year. For the safety of those within the school and to avoid disruption of instructional time, ALL visitors must first report to the front office to receive a visitor’s badge before proceeding on campus. Parents attending teacher conferences during the day or delivering items to classrooms must check in at the front office and receive a visitor’s badge. All visitors are expected to demonstrate the highest standard of courtesy and conduct; disruptive behavior will not be permitted.
