Elysian Fields ISD

House Bill 1842, passed during the 84th Texas Legislative Session, permits Texas public school districts to become Districts of Innovation and allows them to obtain and utilize the exemptions in educational law that charter schools currently are entitled to.

Elysian Fields ISD feels that this is a great opportunity for us to create a plan based on the needs of our students, faculty and community. This plan will remain in effect for five (5) years, from January 2022 - January 2027. The EFISD District of Innovation Plan proposes changes that will affect School Start Dates, Teacher and Principal Evaluations, Teacher Certification, Teaching Contract Days, and Class Size Ratios.
