EFISD Bond 2024: Upgrade Aging Systems
ELYSIAN FIELDS HIGH SCHOOL
• Originally built in 1960 with various additions over the years
• Bond 2024 provides roof repair and replacements; HVAC replacements and upgrades; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs and upgrades
• Safety and security upgrades such as an access control security vestibule
• Renovation of locker rooms in the old gymnasium
• Demolition and replacement of the old field house facility outside Jacket Stadium
ELYSIAN FIELDS MIDDLE SCHOOL
• Originally built in 1995
• Bond 2024 provides roof repair and replacements; HVAC replacements and upgrades; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs and upgrades.
• Safety and security upgrades such as an access control security vestibule
ELYSIAN FIELDS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
• Originally built in 1963 with additions/renovations in 1988
• Bond 2024 will provide a replacement elementary school at a site to be determined
• The new elementary school will include the latest in TEA-recommended classroom spaces, technology, gymnatorium, latest in safety and security features, and a state-mandated storm shelter
• EFISD Transportation Department will relocate to the site of the current elementary school
